Veteran Chiefs forward Graboski off to Sacred Heart

Press Release

One of the longest-serving BCHL players from this season has committed to college.

Chiliwack Chiefs forward Spencer Graboski, who played 230 regular season BCHL games over four seasons in the league, has accepted a scholarship to Sacred Heart University for next season.

Graboski finished his BCHL career in fine fashion, scoring two goals and eight assists in eight playoff games. For his career, he scored 52 goals and 66 assists for 118 points.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound forward played two seasons for his hometown Quesnel Millionaires before the franchise moved to Chilliwack in 2011. Graboski missed just two regular season games over his final three seasons in the BCHL.

Sacred Heart University competes in the NCAA Division I Atlantic Hockey Association against the likes of Air Force, RIT, Robert Morris and Bentley. Graboski will join fellow BCHL alums Ryan Stanimir and Jared Eng at SHU.
