Kehler Commits to Caps

The Cowichan Capitals are pleased to announce that Colton Kehler has committed to play for the Caps in the 2013/2014 season. Colton is a 1997 born forward who stands 5’9” and weighs 155 lbs. He played last season for the Vancouver NE Chiefs in the BCMML, surpassing Ryan Nugent-Hopkins in setting the BCMML record for goals in a season. Colton had 41 goals and 13 assists in 40 games last season.

The Port Coquitlam native says, “I am very excited to enter the BCHL as a 16 year old. It’s a pretty big deal! I am excited to play with a group of very talented players. I think we will have a lot of success.”
“He’s a skill player with a ton of speed” says Head Coach and GM Bob Beatty. “He’ll create a lot of excitement on the ice.”
