Miners 16U defenseman Solomon signs NAHL tender

The Pikes Peak Miners of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) are pleased to announce that 16U defenseman Ryan Solomon, has signed an NAHL tender with the Minnesota Wilderness.  The Wilderness are a new team in the NAHL for the 2013-14 season.

Solomon, 16, played in 17 games during the NAPHL regular season and recorded seven points (1 goal, 6 assists). He also added three points in four playoff games.  The native of Murray, Utah, also played on the Pikes Peak 16U team during the 2011-12 season, where he recorded six points in 18 games played.

Solomon (6’1/170) just finished his third season of playing in the NAPHL.  He has spent the last two years with the 16U team and in 2010-11 played with the 14U Pikes Peak Bantam team.  He is the first player from the Pikes Peak 16U team this season to sign an NAHL tender.
