Saginaw Spirit Announce Fourth Off-Season Signing

Press Release

The Saginaw Spirit announce today that the team has reached terms on an OHL contract with third round pick, defenseman Marcus Crawford.  The Ajax, Ontario native was selected 44th overall in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection after posting eleven goals and twenty four assists this past season with the South Central Coyotes Minor Midget program. Crawford participated in last month’s Saginaw Spirit Development Camp, along with the recently completed OHL Gold Cup, an event which featured a total of seven Spirit draft picks. With the Crawford signing, the Spirit have now come to terms with first round pick Mitchell Stephens, along with second round selections Ryan Orban and Michael Holmes.
