With the first pick in the 2013 NA3HL Entry Draft, the Breezy Point North Stars selected forward Isak Larson from Legacy Christian Academy.

29 North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) players were selected in the NA3HL Entry Draft, which was one less than the 30 selected a season ago.

Players not drafted or tendered by NA3HL teams are still able to participate in each team's respective open tryout camps.

Building upon the recent successes of the league’s North Iowa Bulls winning the 2013 USA Hockey Tier III Junior National Championship and the player advancement during the 2012-13 season to the NAHL and other junior leagues, the NA3HL set a new standard for player movement.  In addition to the seven draft picks, 23 NA3HL players were tendered to NAHL teams throughout the 2012-13 season.

Entering its fourth season in 2013-14, the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL), one of six USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III Junior leagues, serves as one of the top training grounds in the country by providing the best coaching, exposure and developmental vehicles available for student-athletes in its classification.
