Press Release
The Chilliwack Chiefs and the Chilliwack Salvation Army have once again joined forces to host the second annual Salvation Army Golf tournament, to be held Thursday September 26th, an event sure to be filled with fun, prizes and surprises.
We’ve added a few twists to make this tournament different. For
example, we will begin the day with a full steak dinner – For Lunch –
replacing the standard after game dinner. We will have several more
food stations on the course and fun games along the way.
The
full Chilliwack Chiefs team – including Head Coach Harvey Smyl, as well
as a few special guests will be spread out over all 18 holes.
There will be FOUR great Hole-in-One prizes and a super prize for the Closest to the Pin on the #9 Chiefs’ Hole.
The “winners” will walk away with handsome trophies (bragging rights in your office) in addition to valuable prizes.
In the end we will raise sufficient revenue to fully pay for the lease
of a new three-ton reefer truck desperately needed to service the Upper
Valley Salvation Army Food Bank Program.
We encourage you to use the attached forms
to sign up quickly as players and also to become a sponsor and/or a
prize provider. Working together we will truly make a difference for
families in the Greater Chilliwack area.
