Braid and Hart Invited to NHL Camps

Prince Albert SK- Two Prince Albert Raiders forwards, Chance Braid and Jayden Hart, have been invited to attend training camps with the Washington Capitals and Boston Bruins, respectively.

Braid, a native of Chauvin, Alberta, had a breakout season in the 2011-2012 campaign, scoring 9 goals and 20 assists for 29 points in 67 games. The 6’1”, 192-pound left winger recorded 66 penalty minutes, including 8 fighting majors. Braid will attend the Washington Capitals summer development camp next week and will return to the United States capital at the start of the season for rookie camp.

Hart, who was acquired by the Raiders via trade midway through last season, has received an invite to the Boston Bruins’ rookie camp taking place this fall. The 6’1”, 188-pound centre netted 9 goals and 12 assists totalling 21 points in 33 games after joining Prince Albert, including a team-leading 7 power play goals over that span.
