LISI COMMITS TO SACRED HEART

Press Release

Aurora Tigers alternate captain Daniel Lisi (photo credit - Shawn Muir/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Sacred Heart University Pioneers beginning with the 2013-14 Atlantic Hockey season.

The King City, Ontario native played four full seasons in the OJHL, all as a member of the Aurora Tigers from 2009-13.  During his four seasons in the league, Lisi notched 44 goals and 92 points in 176 regular season games, while playing in 20 post-season games.  This past season, the 20-year old posted a career-high 31 points and led the Tigers to their first North Division regular season title since 2006-07, although they would be upset in the playoffs by the Lindsay Muskies.

"While his leadership, offensive contributions and physical play will be sorely missed," said Tigers assistant general manager Michael Doyle, "the Aurora Tigers family wish to congratulate Daniel on his commitment and wish him the best of luck as he moves onto the NCAA this Fall."

Congratulations to Daniel and best of luck in both his academic and athletic career!
