Hurricanes training camp starts Aug. 29th

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes are ready to kick off the 2013 Training Camp on Thursday, August 29th at the ENMAX Centre. Close to 80 participants will be taking part in the six-day camp this year, which “unofficially” begins on August 26th with a veterans skate.

Once again, the Lethbridge Hurricanes are also proud to announce that ENMAX is the official sponsor of the 2013 Lethbridge Hurricanes Training Camp. The Hurricanes would like to thank ENMAX for their continued support towards the organization.

Thursday, August 29th
1:00-3:00 Registration- All players
3:00-5:00 Player/Parent Orientation
5:00-6:00 Team A On Ice testing
6:15-7:15 Team B On Ice testing
7:30-8:30 Team C On Ice testing
8:45- 9:45 Team D On Ice testing

Friday, August 30th - Open to Public
9:00-10:15 Team A vs. Team B.
10:30-11:45 Team C vs. Team D 
2:00-3:15 Team A vs. Team C
3:30-4:45 Team B vs. Team D

Saturday, August 31st - Open to Public
9:00-10:30 Team A vs. Team C
10:45-12:15 Team B vs. Team D
3:00-4:00 Team A vs. Team B
5:00-6:00 Team C vs. Team D

Sunday, September 1st - Open to Public
9:00-11:00 am Bronze Medal Game
11:15-1:15 Gold Medal Game

Following Training camp, the Hurricanes will prepare for their exhibition schedule which begins on September 5th when the ‘Canes take on the Hitmen in Taber at 7:00 p.m. The ‘Canes will then host the Medicine Hat Tigers on September 11th at the ENMAX centre at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets for the preseason games are $10.00, with full proceeds from the ticket sales going towards Taber and Lethbridge Minor Hockey respectively. Tickets can be purchased through Taber and Lethbridge Minor Hockey Associations.
