DRYDEN -- The Dryden Ice Dogs and Standard Insurance are teaming up to fight cancer.
Standard Insurance is the proud sponsor of the Cancer Awareness game, which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Dryden Memorial Arena as the Ice Dogs take on the English River Miners.
The Ice Dogs were pleased to unveil the cancer jerseys Friday morning with the staff at Standard Insurance along with Ice Dogs president Terry Menard and general manager and director of hockey operations Brad Boyko.
Proceeds from the Cancer jerseys will go to the Oncology unit at the Dryden Regional Health Centre.
