Sioux Falls, SD—The Sioux Falls Stampede are excited to announce that two of their three games at the USHL Atlantic Challenge will be broadcast live on KELO and KWSN radio. The USHL Atlantic Challenge will take place September 6-8 in New Jersey.
The Stampede are one of six USHL teams participating in the largest showcase of USHL talent outside of the Midwest in League history. Two other Western Conference teams, Sioux City and Waterloo will participate while Cedar Rapids, Muskegon and Youngstown will represent the Eastern Conference.
Sioux Falls kicks off USHL Atlantic Challenge play on Friday, September 6th against Cedar Rapids at 7 PM (Central). Fans can hear the game live on KELO News Talk 1320-AM and 107.9-FM starting at 6:50 PM. In addition, the game will be available online at www.kelo.com. On Saturday, September 7th, the Herd will face Youngstown at 11:30 AM. That game can be heard live on Sioux Falls Sports Radio 1230-AM and 98.1-FM starting at 11:20 AM. Fans can also listen online at www.kwsn.com. Jim Olander, the voice of Stampede hockey, will have the call of both games. The Stampede close out play on Sunday, September 8th at 10:00 AM against Muskegon.
In addition, all three games are available live on-demand via FASTHockey, the League’s broadcast partner.
Stampede players report to training camp Labor Day Weekend and officially open camp on September 2nd.
