MUSKEGON, Michigan (August 15th) – In accordance with the United States Hockey League, the Muskegon Lumberjacks have announced that they have traded Defenseman Mike Preston to the Indiana Ice for future considerations.
Preston, the Carmel, Indiana native, spent the 2012-13 season with the Lumberjacks totaling one goal and three assists to go along with a plus-two rating in 50 games played. This upcoming season will be his second in the USHL.
Prior to joining the Lumberjacks, Preston spent the 2011-12 season in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) totaling three goals and five assists in 62 games combined with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs and Janesville Jets.
