Vipers and Greater Vernon Minor Hockey Team Up

The Vernon Vipers are very pleased to announce a partnership for the coming season with Greater Vernon Minor Hockey.  The partnership will provide many benefits for both parties.

The agreement is set to include the following:

  • Player Mentorship Program –Viper players will be attending two practices for each GVMHA team throughout the season.
  • Coach Mentorship Program –Viper Coaches will assist GVMHA coaches as well as putting together a seminar during the season
  • Fundraising Opportunities for GVMHA -  The Vipers have provided a couple of fundraising opportunities for minor hockey that include a ticketing program and 50/50
  • Any player in Greater Vernon Minor Hockey for the coming season will be eligible to receive a general admission season pass for $50.00. 

The two organizations will also be involved in many other joint activities during the season.  Vernon Viper Head Coach and GM Jason Williamson believes this partnership is great for both groups.  “I’m very pleased that we were able to put this together this season with Greater Vernon Minor Hockey.  The board has been fantastic to deal with and this is a relationship that we believe will continue to grow for years to come.”

Greater Vernon Minor Hockey rep teams will also be wearing Vernon Viper replica jerseys with the Viper logo for all games this season.
