Press Release sent to the World of Junior Hockey

PRINCE GEORGE, BC – The Prince George Spruce Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) announced today the commitment of Brogan O’Brien to the team for the 2014-15 season.

Brogan O’Brien is a 6’ 01” 172 lbs left handed forward from Prince George, BC. The 1997 born centre was a standout during the team’s main camp, intra-squad and preseason games. O’Brien has been reassigned to the BC Major Midget Cariboo Cougars in Prince George for the season.

“Brogan is a tremendous young hockey player and a tremendous young man,” said Mike Hawes, Spruce Kings General Manager. “He is going to be a great player for us and will fit very well into our team's core values.”

“Any time we can add a local player with Brogan's ability and character, we will,” added Hawes. “We'd like to welcome Brogan and his family to the Spruce Kings family.”

Throughout the 2013-14 season, O’Brien will be called upon to practice and play for the Spruce Kings as an affiliate player.
