Kingston Frontenacs commit, netminder Jeremy Helvig, has been reassigned to the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots for the 2013-14 OJHL season.
The 6'2", 190 lbs. native of Markham, Ontario joins the Patriots
after a stellar minor midget season in 2012-13 as a member of the
Toronto Red Wings 'AAA' organization. Helvig posted a 1.70 goals
against average in leading the Wings to a spot in the prestigious OHL
Cup tournament. Following the season, he would be selected by the
Frontenacs in the 3rd round, 45th overall, of the OHL Priority Selection
and would win a silver medal at the OHL Gold Cup, as well as earn a
spot at the Team Ontario Under-17 camp.
Best of luck to Jeremy in his rookie junior season!
