Saint John's annual charity softball game announced

SAINT JOHN –The Saint John Sea Dogs and the Saint John Neighbourhood Police Council are hitting the diamond at Memorial Field for their annual charity softball game.

The 2013-14 Sea Dogs will take on the Saint John Police All Stars Wednesday, Sept. 11th at 6:30 pm at Memorial Field on the Dever Road in Saint John. Ticket pricing is as follows: 1 for $10, 4 for $30, 5 for $35 or 6 for $40.

The Saint John Neighborhood Police Council, made up of our Saint John Police Force Volunteers, acts as a formal advisory link between the Community and the Saint John Police Force.  The Police Council addresses gaps in service, communicates public concerns and supports Community Crime Prevention Programs.

The funds raised from the game will be used help increase public awareness of the Saint John Neighborhood Police Council and support Community Policing Programs, such as Neighborhood Watch, Kids ‘n Kops, and Block Parents.
