PRINCE GEORGE, BC – The Prince George Spruce Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) are excited to announce a media partnership with the Jim Pattison Broadcast Group in Prince George. The media partnership will include extra and exclusive coverage of the Spruce Kings on 99.3 The Drive, 101.3 The River and CKPG TV as well as a feature game of the month to be broadcast live on 99.3 The Drive hosted by well know play by play broadcaster, Ron St. Clair. These games will be featured within the scheduled NHL play by play season, where all Vancouver Canuck games will be broadcast on 99.3 The Drive.
The Jim Pattison Broadcast Group is committed to promoting the Spruce Kings Annual Show Home Lottery on all three stations. Spotlight on the Spruce Kings will be a weekly feature on the team to be seen on the CKPG TV Sports during the 5:00pm flagship newscast. There will also be a strong presence from the Jim Pattison Broadcast Group in the Coliseum during designated game nights with ticket giveaways, promotions, fan activations and prize giveaways featuring the Prize Team and the Funchaser.
“This is a critical step forward in building our program,” said Spruce Kings President, Todd Doherty. “The partnership incorporates many aspects including game night sponsorships, weekly features and tremendous support with our Show Home Lottery.”

The feature games of the month scheduled to be broadcast on 99.3 The Drive include Saturday September 28 at the Chilliwack Chiefs, Thursday October 24 vs the Merritt Centennials, Thursday November 21 at the Langley Rivermen, Wednesday December 4 at Coquitlam Express, Saturday January 11 vs the Surrey Eagles and Saturday February 8 vs the West Kelowna Warriors.
