The Saskatoon Blades have announced that they have released forward Austin Calladine.
The Saskatoon product appeared in three games with the Blades in 2013-14, registering a +1 rating and no points or penalty minutes. The 5'10, 186-pound Calladine was originally acquired by Saskatoon on September 26th, as the Blades sent a conditional 8th round draft pick in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft to the Calgary Hitmen.
The left-winger was the 44th overall pick in the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft by Calgary. Last season, he appeared in 33 games with the Hitmen, posting a goal, two assists and 12 PIMs.
