Express captain Rosenthal's 9-point weekend earns him POW nod

Coquitlam Express forward and captain Ryan Rosenthal has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 6, the league announced Monday.

Rosenthal racked up nine points in helping the Express to three-win weekend over division rivals Chilliwack and Surrey. The Montvale, N.J. had two goals and an assist in each of the contests and scored the game-winner in a weekend-opening victory over Chilliwack. He was named 2nd Star in each of the team's three wins.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound forward now has 15 points in nine games on the season to sit fifth in the BCHL scoring race.
