The Flint Junior Generals of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are pleased to announce that forward Cam Jorgensen
has been called up to play for the NAHL’s Michigan Warriors and will
dress in Michigan’s game on Wednesday against the Port Huron Fighting
Falcons.
Jorgensen, 19, is a native of East Lansing, Michigan and in his
first season playing in the NA3HL. He is an integral part of a Flint
team, who is off to an impressive 8-0-1 start and sitting atop of the
East Division standings.
This past weekend was Jorgensen’s best to date as the 5’10/195 lbs.
forward had four goals and was a +5 in a two-game home sweep of the
Peoria Mustangs. To date, Jorgensen had registered eight points in nine
regular season games.
Prior to playing in the NA3HL, Jorgensen spent the last two seasons
playing for the Lansing Capitals 18U team in the NAPHL. During the
2012-13 season, he tied for the team lead in scoring with 19 points in
21 games. During the 2011-12 season, he scored 16 points in 22 games.
“Cam has been a big part of our success thus far and we are excited
for him to get the opportunity with the Warriors in the NAHL,” said
Flint head coach Steve Howard. “Cam has great vision and poise with the
puck. The rest of the boys are even more excited to see our team’s
early success is being noticed.”
