Jaillet Named Alberta Dodge Dealers AJHL Player of the Month

Press Release

Fort McMurray Oil Barons goaltender, Tanner Jaillet, is the first Alberta Dodge Dealers AJHL Player of the Month for the 2013-2014 season.  Jaillet and the Oil Barons were undefeated through the month of September 2013.  Jaillet has recorded 7 consecutive wins amongst the team’s 10 game winning streak.

Jaillet leads the league with a stingy 1.42 GAA and has allowed just 10 goals on 193 shots.  Throughout September, Jaillet posted one shutout and picked up the Pro Hockey Life Player of the Game Award twice.  Jaillet was also named the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the opening week of the 2013-2014 AJHL Regular Season

The 20 year old goaltender from Red Deer, Alberta is in his third season with the Fort McMurray Oil Barons.

The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have set a new franchise record for a season opening winning streak and are enjoying the best start to a MOB season since the national championship run in 1999-2000.  The streak also ties the third-longest season opening win streak in the AJHL Record Book.

The Alberta Junior Hockey League is pleased to partner with the Alberta Dodge Dealer Association and will recognize the AJHL Player of the Month throughout the AJHL season.
