MUSKEGON, Michigan (October 9th) – The Muskegon Lumberjacks have
announced that Defenseman Connor Frantti has been traded to the Western
Conference’s Lincoln Stars in exchange for a conditional seventh-round
pick in the 2014 USHL Phase Two Draft.
Frantti, the Spring Grove, Illinois native, was the Lumberjacks’
16th-round pick (233rd overall) in the 2013 USHL Phase Two Draft and has
a commitment to play for Northern Michigan University out of the
Western Collegiate Hockey Conference (WCHA) following his junior career.
This season, Frantti appeared in one regular season game with the
Lumberjacks on September 28th in Ann Arbor against the USNTDP Under-17
Team and tallied a plus-one rating. Additionally, Frantti appeared in
all five of Muskegon’s preseason games.
