McNiven assigned to Georgetown

Press Release

The Owen Sound Attack is announcing that goaltender Michael McNiven has been assigned to the Georgetown Raiders of the OJHL.

McNiven, 16, was a 4th Round Draft Pick of the Attack in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection, seeing action in the Exhibition season and backing up Brandon Hope for the first two games of the season.

“Michael has been assigned for the purpose of allowing him to play more games and to become acclimated to the pace of Junior Hockey.”, stated Attack General Manager Dale DeGray. “We will monitor his progress and look forward to his eventual recall.”

McNiven’s assignment leaves the Attack with veteran Brandon Hope and newly acquired Jack Flinn.
