OHL Announces Disciplinary Action

Game of Thursday, September 26th, 2013 – Owen Sound Attack at Barrie Colts

The Ontario Hockey League today announced the results of a review of an incident which took place in a game played in Barrie on the 26th of September, 2013 involving the Colts and the visiting Owen Sound Attack Hockey Club.

The incident reviewed was a checking from behind penalty assessed to player Stefano Pezzetta of the Owen Sound Attack Hockey Club.

Based on such review, it is the position of the League that player Stefano Pezzetta shall be suspended for eight (8) games, dating from but not including the game of Thursday, September 26th, 2013.

Game of Friday, September 27th, 2013 – Belleville Bulls at Mississauga Steelheads

The Ontario Hockey League today announced the results of a review of an incident which took place in a game played in Mississauga on the 27th of September, 2013 involving the Steelheads and the visiting Belleville Bulls Hockey Club.

The incident reviewed was a 5 minute major and game misconduct for boarding assessed to player Josh Burnside of the Mississauga Steelheads Hockey Club.

Based on such review, it is the position of the League that player Josh Burnside shall be suspended for six (6) games, dating from but not including the game of Friday, September 27th, 2013.

Game of Saturday, September 28th, 2013 – Erie Otters at Windsor Spitfires

The Ontario Hockey League today announced the results of a review of an incident which took place in a game played in Windsor on the 28th of September, 2013 involving the Spitfires and the visiting Erie Otters Hockey Club.

The incident reviewed was a 5 minute major and game misconduct for cross checking assessed to player Cory Genovese of the Erie Otters Hockey Club.

Based on such review, it is the position of the League that player Cory Genovese shall be suspended for five (5) games, dating from but not including the game of Saturday, September 28th, 2013.

Game of Sunday, September 29th, 2013 – London Knights at Guelph Storm

The Ontario Hockey League today announced the result of an incident which took place in a game played in Guelph on the 29th of September, 2013 involving the Storm and the visiting London Knights Hockey Club.

The incident reviewed was a 5 minute major and game misconduct for checking to the head assessed to player Max Domi of the London Knights Hockey Club.

Based on such review, it is the position of the League that player Max Domi shall be suspended for four (4) games, dating from but not including the game of Sunday, September 29th, 2013.
