Press Release
Peterborough Petes General Manager Michael Oke announced today that
Cody Thompson has been designated for reassignment. At this time the
team is waiting to determine what the best playing opportunity will be
for Thompson moving forward.
Thompson has played in three games so far this season, scoring one
assist and adding five penalty minutes. Over three seasons with
Peterborough, the 5’10” left winger from Toronto has played in 54 games,
totalling five goals and four assists along with 52 penalty minutes.
“Cody is a terrific young man who has always represented the
Peterborough Petes in a positive manner,” said Oke, “and at this point
in time what he needs is playing time in order to continue his
development.”
The Petes active roster now sits at 23 players.
