The Peterborough Petes are excited to announce a partnership with the
Canadian Mental Health Association, Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge.
The Petes game on Thursday, October 10th against the Sudbury
Wolves will feature several events and programs aimed at raising funds
and awareness for the CMHA in conjunction with World Mental Health Day.
Activities at the game will include a performance by the renowned
Kids on the Block puppets during the first intermission, a trivia
contest where fans can win tickets to the April Wine concert at The
Venue in Peterborough on October 24th, CMHA merchandize giveaways, and several CMHA information booths located throughout the arena.
Tickets for the game are available at a reduced price of $16 by using
promo code “CMHA” at the Box Office or online. The Petes and
Peterborough Memorial Centre will also donate $4 from every ticket sold
directly to the CMHA.
Also at the game will be local minor football players from Adam Scott
C.V.I. and other members of Team 55 Tackles Suicide Awareness, who will
be promoting their Friday Night Lights fundraising event at the new
TASSS field on October 18th.
