The Elmira Sugar Kings currently sit atop the Midwestern Conference, a
big reason for their position is the strong play of defenseman Craig
Johnson, who has earned Defenseman of the Month honours for September.
Aurora, Ontario’s Johnson picked up 1 goal and 3 assists for the month
and played steady defense all month long to help his team keep the puck
out of their net.
