Blizzard's Kulynych named RBC Player of the Month

The RBC Player of the Month for October is 20 year old forward Damien Kulynych of the OCN Blizzard. He recorded 22 points in 11 games with 6 goals and 16 assists. The runners up are 20 year old forward Parker Thomas of the Selkirk Steelers and 19 year old forward Zack Waldvogel of the Portage Terriers.

The MGEU Goaltender of Month for October is 20 year old Braeden Ostepchuk of the Selkirk Steelers. In October he recorded 7 wins and 3 losses with a GAA of 2.1 and a save percentage of .930 along with one shutout. The runners up are 19 year old Nicholas Deery of the Steinbach Pistons and 18 year old Scott Parsons of the Winnipeg Blues.

The Sher-wood Hockey Defenseman of the Month for October is 19 year old Clay Van Diest of the Portage Terriers. He recorded 9 points on 3 goals and 6 assists in October. The runners up are 20 year old Joel Messner of the Selkirk Steelers and 20 year old Garrett Schmitz of the Steinbach Pistons.

The IBAM Rookie of the Month for October is 18 year old forward Riley Hillis of the Neepawa Natives. He recorded 7 goals and 2 assists for 9 points in October. The runners up are 17 year old forward Jake Dudar of the Virden Oil Capitals and 17 year old goaltender Zac Robidoux of the Portage Terriers.
