Alberni Valley Bulldogs forward and captain Tryg Strand has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 3, the league announced Monday.
Strand scored eight points on the 'Dogs three-game Mainland road trip, helping his team to four of a possible six points. The Invermere, B.C. native opened with two assists and a 2nd Star in a win over Coquitlam, had a helper in a loss to Surrey and finished with a big five-point outing that included two goals and a 1st Star honour in a win over Chilliwack.
