Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week

Goaltender Marc Olivier Daigle of the Drayton Valley Thunder is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week  for the week ending November 10th, 2013.  Marc recorded a 3-0 record over the week and has won six consecutive games in the Thunder net.  Daigle and the Thunder are 7-2-1 in their last 10 games, including a 6 game winning streak.

Over the week of November 4th – 10th, Marc posted a 1.65 GAA and turned away 99 of 104 shots in three games.  Daigle was awarded as the Pro Hockey Life Player of the Game on November 10th versus the Lloydminster Bobcats.

Daigle is amongst the Top 10 AJHL Goaltenders with a .912 save percentage.  The 18 year-old from Delson, QC is in his second AJHL season with the Thunder.
