The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League today announced that Etienne
Marcoux of the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada is the VAUGHN QMJHL
Goaltender of the Month for October.
The 20-year-old native of
La Plaine registered five wins in six starts while posting an
outstanding 1.33 goals-against-average and .944 save percentage. He
allowed only 8 goals and recorded a shutout against the Wildcats in
Moncton on October 10th.
The goaltender is starting his fifth
and final season and has been stellar in helping the Armada secure first
place in the CHL BMO Top 10 rankings which they have now held for five
The VAUGHN QMJHL Goaltender of the Month for October has registered 78 career regular season wins.
