Spitfires unveil outdoor game jersey

Press Release to see the jersey

Earlier today, President & Head Coach Bob Boughner unveiled the jersey the Spitfires will wear as part of the OHL Outdoor Doubleheader on December 29th at Comerica Park in Detroit.

The jersey (see below) is a vintage design, featuring the logo worn from 1976 to 1984.

“We wanted to create a jersey that had a classic look and feel,” said Boughner. “It's a throwback, vintage design that we think fits well with the theme of the OHL's first ever outdoor games. We hope our fans feel the same and like it as much as we do.”

The jerseys will be available for pre-order at SpitsGear.com starting today and for pick-up beginning on December 1st, after which they will be in-stock and available at Blades Pro Shop and The Crease, both located at the WFCU Centre.

In addition, Boughner announced that, as early as today, season ticket holders will be receiving a mailout with value priced ticket package offers for the club's game versus the Saginaw Spirit at 1:30 pm on December 29th and the subsequent game featuring the Plymouth Whalers and London Knights.

These offers will be redeemable exclusively at Blades Pro Shop, located on the community rinks side of the WFCU Centre, directly across from the Tim Horton's kiosk.
