Staley's monster road weekend earns him POW accolades

Prince George Spruce Kings forward Chad Staley has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 10, the league announced Tuesday.

Staley led his team to five of a possible six road points and racked up 10 points on four goals and six assists in the process. The Kennewick, Wash. native began with a goal and two helpers in a win over Trail where he earned 1st Star, followed with a hat trick and another 1st Star showing in 4-4 tie in Vernon and finished out the trip assisting on each PG goal in a 3-2 double-OT win in Salmon Arm.
