On the heels of their recent 3-1 performance at the North American
Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) 18U Showcase in Romeoville, Illinois,
the Omaha AAA Hockey Club 18U team, proud members of the NAPHL, is
pleased to announce that two forwards, Ryan Cagnoni and Mason Kreuger, have signed tenders with the NAHL’s Corpus Christi IceRays.
The IceRays are members of the NAHL's South Division and currently have two former NAPHL players on their current 23-man roster.
Kreuger who hails from Bettendorf, Iowa is in his first season with
the Omaha AAA organization and is the Omaha 18U Team Captain. To date
this season, the 17-year-old forward has amassed 10 goals and 16 assists
for 26 points to go along with 22 PIM in 26 games with the Omaha AAA
18U Team. Krueger becomes the first player from the Omaha AAA Hockey
Club Team to sign an NAHL Tender this season. In nine NAPHL games,
Kreuger (5’10/170) has totaled seven points.
Cagnoni who is from Arvada, Colorado is in his second season with
the Omaha AAA organization. To date this season, the 18-year-old forward
has amassed 18 goals and 24 assists for 42 points to go along with 74
PIM in 26 games. He has played in nine NAPHL games to date and has
registered nine points. Last season, Cagnoni appeared in 22 NAPHL games
last season and registered 12 points. He also played in the 2013 NAPHL
Top Prospects Tournament in Frisco, Texas for Team Central where he
scored three points in four games played. Cagnoni becomes the 2nd player
from the Omaha AAA Hockey Club to sign an NAHL Tender this season.
