EHL All-Stars To Face Russians Dec. 23

Press Release

BOSTON, MASS. - For the second year in a row the Eastern Hockey League all-star team, sponsored by Bauer, will be squaring off against the MHL Red Stars, which is comprised of the top players in the MHL Russian Junior league.

The game will take place Dec. 23 at (11:20am start time) at Tsongas Center on the campus of the University of Massachusetts-Lowell.
The MHL assembles its Red Stars team every December and tours the United States to face-off against a series of games against NCAA Division I universities.  The EHL has been fortunate enough to be invited to participate on the MHL’s schedule the past two seasons and provide this top-notch scouting event for its players.
The Bauer EHL squad will consist of 23 players as chosen by the coaching staff comprised of Justin Lyle (Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights), Bill Flanagan (Northern Cyclones) and Ryan Frew (New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs).  The EHL team will gather in Simsbury, Conn., after the EHL December Showcase, and travel to Lowell to prepare for the game.
