MJ Warriors Teddy Bear & Toque Toss Night Saturday

Press Release

This Saturday the Moose Jaw Warriors will hold their annual Teddy Bear and Toque Toss Night at Mosaic Place.

Fans are encouraged to bring plush toys, toques and/or mittens to the game.  When the Warriors score their first goal of the game, those items will be thrown onto the ice.  Local volunteers will help the Warriors clean the ice, all items will be donated to the Moose Jaw Salvation Army.

“This is one of the most anticipated nights of the year,” said Warriors Director of Business Operations Corey Nyhagen.  “The support from the community in the past for Teddy Bear and Toque Toss Night has been tremendous.  We anticipate that once again our fans will open their hearts and generously take part in this program which helps children in the Moose Jaw area.”

Those who bring toques or mittens are being asked to put them into a Ziploc or plastic bag before throwing them onto the ice.
