Oil Capitals’ Haverstick named MJHL Recycle Everywhere Player of the Week

Corey Haverstick of the Virden Oil Capitals has been named the Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week for the week ending December 8th.

The 18-year-old forward from Winnipeg recorded seven points (5-2) in three games last week for the Oil Capitals who sit first in the Sher-Wood Division with 19 wins and 39 points after 31 games.

Haverstick also leads the Oil Capitals scoring race with 16 goals and 31 points after 30 games.

The runners up are 20 year old goaltender Braeden Ostepchuk of the Selkirk Steelers and 16 year old forward Jackson Keane of the Winnipeg Blues.
