The Virden Oil Capitals unveiled their third jersey recently, ending weeks of good-natured mystery and intrigue.
Prior to the official unveiling, the Oil Capitals marketing
department had been sending out “teaser” notices to their fans. Each
notice contained a tiny glimpse of the new jersey.
The marketing strategy was very well received by fans, further
heightening the excitement of the official unveiling, according to
Lindsey Gullett, marketing manager of the Oil Caps.
