The Cowichan Capitals have traded the playing rights of Ambrose Firkus to the Okotoks Oilers in exchange for the playing rights of 1995 born Taylor Allan. Taylor is in his first year with the Oilers and has 5 goals, 10 assists and 55 penalty minutes in 31 games.
Coach Beatty says, “Taylor is an 18 year old forward that has skill and grit. He is a player that has been on the Caps radar and is a good fit for our team.” Albeta scout Ray Robak identified Taylor as a top Alberta prospect.
The Capitals welcome Taylor to the Cowichan Valley and look forward to seeing him on the ice.
