Outstanding goaltending has earned Scott Parsons of the Winnipeg Blues this week’s MJHL Recycle Everywhere Player of the Week award ending January 19th.
The rookie netminder posted a 2-1 record last week, highlited by a
shutout win for the Blues who sit fourth in the tight Addison Division
with 23 wins and 52 points.
Parsons, who hails from Fort Francis, is enjoying a strong inaugural
season in the MJHL, reflected in a 9-7 record and three shutouts.
The runners up are 20 year old goaltender Adam Iwan of the Virden Oil
Capitals and 19 year old forward Colin Baudry of the Steinbach Pistons.
