Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week - Anthony Paskaruk

 The Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the opening days of 2014 is Anthony Paskaruk of the Brooks Bandits.  Paskaruk scored 3 goals and 5 points in his first two games of the NewYear.  The Bandits won both games in overtime – Paskaruk scored a hat trick and the game winning goal on January 3rd versus the Spruce Grove Saints, then assisted on the OT winner against the Camrose Kodiaks on January 4th.

The 19 year-old forward received the Pro Hockey Life Player of the Game Award for his 4 point performance on January 3rd.  The hat trick was his first of the season.  The Bandits Team Captain is third in team scoring with 25 points in 33 games.

Anthony Paskaruk (Airdrie, AB) has committed to Clarkson University.  Paskaruk is in his fourth season with the Brooks Bandits, during which time he has played in 207 regular season games and scored 133 points in the AJHL.
