Cody Thompson traded to Mississauga Steelheads

Peterborough Petes General Manager Michael Oke announced today that Cody Thompson has been traded to the Mississauga Steelheads in exchange for Kingston's 10th round selection in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection.

Thompson was selected by the Petes in the fourth round, 64th overall, in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection. The 5’10”, 184lb left winger from Toronto has played 54 games for the Petes over three seasons, registering five goals and four assists for nine points along with 52 penalty minutes. The 1995-born Thompson was eligible for the 2013 NHL Draft.

Thompson is currently playing for the Toronto Jr. Canadiens of the OJHL.
