Dubeau, Duclair and Gélinas named the TELUS three stars of the month of December

Alex Dubeau, Anthony Duclair and Guillaume Gélinas were named today the TELUS three stars for the month of December.

The first star of December is the Moncton Wildcats goaltender, Alex Dubeau. In 10 games, he recorded 9 wins, had an average of 2.28 and a save percentage of 0.935. He had one shutout and made at least 35 stops in five of his wins. Dubeau dominates all goaltenders in the league in number of wins with 21 and a save pourcentage of 0.919.

Anthony Duclair, the Quebec Remparts forward, is the second star of the week. In 10 games, Duclair tallied 22 points with 9 goals and +/- of +8. He played 8 games of at least 2 points including 2 games of 4 points. Out of 37 games, he has accumulated 57 points, which ties him in third place in the League.

For the second time in as many months, the third star is Guillaume Gélinas. The Val-d’Or Foreurs defenseman ended the month with 17 points of 1 goal and 16 assists, and a +/- of +7. With a total of 56 points, he is the best defensemen in the league and fifth in overall scoring.
