Many teams made last minute trades as QMJHL deadline loomed

Many teams took advantage of the trade period which ended today at noon, to make changes to their rosters.

Among today trades, the Chicoutimi Saguenéens’ sent Charles Hudon to the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in exchange for the third round pick of 2014, and first round picks of 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Dominic Talbot-Tassi, the Sherbrooke Phoenix defenceman, was traded along with a first round pick for 2015 to the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada in exchange for Julien Bahl. Both teams play against each other tomorrow in Sherbrooke. The Phoenix also sent Jean-François Plante and a fifth round pick of 2015 to the Victoriaville Tigres in exchange for the second pick of 2014 and third pick of 2015.

The Cap-Breton Screaming Eagles traded William Carrier and Matthew Donnelly to the Drummondville Voltigeurs in exchange for Guillaume Gauthier as well as a fifth round pick of 2014 and first round pick of 2015.

The Charlottetown Islanders sent Alexis Pépin to the Gatineau Olympiques, Jack Nevins to the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and Ryan Graves to the Val-d’Or Foreur and welcomed David Henley,, Vladislav Lysenko, Julien Avon and Curtis Scale.
