Mooseheads sign Gadoury

Cam Russell, General Manager of the Halifax Mooseheads, announced this morning that the Club has signed free agent forward Philippe Gadoury from the Nepean Raiders of the Central Canada Hockey League.

The nineteen-year-old Gadoury, who plays center and left wing, is 5’10” and 180 lbs. As of yesterday Gadoury was the leading scorer for Nepean with 25 goals and 30 assists for 55 points in 42 games. He was tied for third in league scoring.

Gadoury was planning to play college hockey at Northeastern University but opted to join the Mooseheads for the final year and a half of his junior eligibility.

Russell stated, “We are thrilled to add a player of Philippe Gadoury’s ability to our Club. We look forward to seeing how Philippe fits in with the other top forwards on our team.”
