Pistons’ Rakochy named MJHL Recycle Everywhere Player of the Week

Being perfect earned Steinbach Pistons’ goaltender Zach Rakochy the Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week for the week ending January 5th.


Rakochy, 20, posted a pair of wins last week ─ both shutouts. The native of Canora, Sk., has an overall record of 15-4 with the Pistons, who sit second in the Addison Division with 30 wins and 61 points.

The runners up are 20 year old forward Parker Thomas of the Selkirk Steelers and 19 year old forward Nic Erb of the Swan Valley Stampeders.
