Kitchener Rangers General Manager Murray Hiebert announced Thursday that the team has completed a trade with the Belleville Bulls.
In the trade, the Rangers acquired the rights to goaltender Hayden Lavigne, in exchange for Sudbury’s 15th round pick in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection and a conditional fifth round pick in 2016.
Belleville’s sixth round pick in the 2012 Priority Selection, Lavigne is currently playing with the Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League.
