Red Wings Add Al Iafrate and Petr Klima to Alumni Roster

MUSKEGON, Michigan (January 7th) – With the Red Wings Alumni Game taking place this Saturday night at 7:15 pm at the L.C. Walker Arena that features the Muskegon Lumberjacks alumni taking on the Detroit Red Wings alumni, the Red Wings have announced two more confirmations to play in the game in Defenseman Al Iafrate and Forward Petr Klima.

Iafrate, the Dearborn, Michigan native, played 14 seasons in the NHL from 1984-94 and 1996-98 with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Washington Capitals, Boston Bruins, and San Jose Sharks.

Klima, the Chomutov, Czechoslovakia native, was drafted by the Red Wings 88th overall during the 1983 NHL Entry Draft and played four seasons with the Red Wings from 1985-89.  Overall, Klima played 14 seasons in the NHL from 1985-97 and 1998-99 with the Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Los Angeles Kings, and Pittsburgh Penguins.
