Sea Dogs and Pals partner for cereal drive

Press Release

SAINT JOHN - The Saint John Sea Dogs and Partners Assisting Local Schools (PALS) are holding their annual cereal drive Saturday, January 4th, at Harbour Station.

Fans are asked to bring a new box of cereal or breakfast bars to Saturday's game at 7 p.m. between the Sea Dogs and Halifax Mooseheads. Donations can be dropped off inside the main doors of the concourse at Harbour Station. The only request is that the cereal be healthy and nutritious.

All cereal will be distributed to seven breakfast programs at Community/PALS schools in Saint John.

"We are so proud to be involved with the PALS cereal drive again this year," said Sea Dogs President Wayne Long. "Community schools enable local businesses to enhance the school experience for so many kids in our region. Our fans are so generous, and have always supported initiatives that give back to the community. The cereal drive is another chance to do that."
