Season high nine game win streak has them in the driver’s seat

2-BATTLEFORDS NORTH STARS (25-16-0-2) … 3rd last week
They’ve won eight straight and showing no signs at all of a slow down

3-YORKTON TERRIERS (24-10-2-4) … 4th last week
A nice turnaround for them in Flin Flon before falling flat in Nipawin

4-MELVILLE MILLIONAIRES (27-11-2-2) …     1st last week
A big fall from grace as they drop a pair of games to sub .500 opposition

5-HUMBOLDT BRONCOS (23-13-1-3) … 5th last week
Recent struggles from Broncos have turned the Viterra into an exciting three headed race

6-ESTEVAN BRUINS (20-14-2-4) … 6th last week
They’ll need to get hot again to, seriously, challenge for a top six spot in the playoffs

Kozun with a big week, so the Hawks win a pair

A strong win over Melville keeps them locked in a possible division title

9-LA RONGE ICE WOLVES (17-21-2-0) … 7th last week
Still a tough team to play at the Mel as they are one over .500 on home ice

10-WEYBURN RED WINGS (14-21-3-4) … 12th last week
Love their fight.  Two wins last week has them back in the playoff conversation

11-FLIN FLON BOMBERS (16-20-0-2) … 11th last week
They’ve fallen six points out of first in the Sherwood and need to be careful they don’t fall off playoff chase

12-NOTRE DAME HOUNDS (15-20-1-4) … 9th last week
Antisin injury hurts.  So does a six game slide

WHO’S HOT

Tad Kozun, Nipawin (5-2-6-8) … Not conceding anything to Daae in the scoring race

Zach Douglas, Estevan (2-0-4-4) … If he can stay healthy, look for a real strong finish

Austin Calladine, Flin Flon (4-5-1-6) … 18-year-old is the new go-to guy for the Bombers

Sam Aulie, Notre Dame (9-7-2-9) … I’m sure he’d trade a few goals for team wins, but he’s hot right now

Austin Yano, Kindersley (5-1-4-5) … Underrated anchor of a strong defense on the league’s strongest team at the moment

Alexei Thibaudeau, Notre Dame (0-1-0-2, 1.91, .941) … Great numbers.  Just needs a win

Darren Martin, Battlefords (2-0, 1.50, .941) & Michael Gudmandson, Battlefords (5-0, 1.57, .949, 1SO) … Doesn’t matter who plays goal for the Stars.  It’s a fortress back there.
